Katy Perry at the 2011 People's Choice Awards

Always a favorite, Katy Perry sent the fans into a frenzy when she showed up for the annual People's Choice Awards, Wednesday, Jan. 5. The "fireworks" pop star was in great spirits as she headed into the Nokia Theatre for the annual series' action-packed festivities while dressed in a colorful dress. Mrs. Russell Brand took the lead this year with five nominations, including favorite female artist, Favorite Pop Artist, favorite song, music video and Favourite Web Celeb.
